I really like Diana Palmer's books but this one was not one of my favorites. The male was usually a "jerk" but lots of her male "stars" are. lol But this one was a bit worse and the heroine seemed to let him just stomp all over her and still just fell at his feet when he smiled at her. Lots of her female figures give in to the males when they act badly, but this one seemed to be worse than others. Again, this wasn't one of my favorites and I think I have read almost all of her books.Product details

I am a fan of Diana Palmer books I highly recommend all of them, this is one that I missed I enjoyed it too.
Terrible. Just awful. This is the first and only kindle book I have chosen to delete from my cloud.
I have always loved Diana Palmer's cowboy books----this is another facet of her writing. It is like so many Harlequin stories----predictable, but sweet, never the less. A fast read!
Love Diana Palmer in everything she writes
I really enjoyed this one by DP, and some of hers, I don't like at all. This one allowed the reader to actually feel the heroine had a little grit to her, instead of typical DP females, who are virginal, scared of their own shadow, and so naïve.
Diana Palmer has done it again. No matter what the problem she can get to the heart of it and make it into a great story.
I probably read this book years ago, because upon reading it, the story became very familiar. I hate when authors change the cover and reissue books for that reason. I haven't checked the publication date but I'd say was written in early 2000 so it read as such. I said all of that to say, although the book was a good read, with all the trimming of a good romance novel don't let the cover fool you into thinking this is a modern novel. If you like the old stuff, which I do. You'll love this book too.
